Furnishing the workplace - targeting carbon zero
29/04/21 17:40
I am proud to be the moderator for WOD - Women in Office Design's forthcoming seminar on sustainability and the circular economy.
A panel of experts will gather at Perkins & Will's London office to discuss the important subject of sustainability in furnishing and fit-out industry and the audience will join online to attend and be a part of this conversation.
Fitout is responsible for 40% of energy in a building. Furniture from virgin resources contributes to 30% of the carbon footprint of a commercial building over its entire life. Join some of the UK’s leading players in the workplace sector to discuss how to tackle these issues. Key topics will include targeting carbon zero, moving towards circularity, inspiring the entire workplace community to focus on sustainability.
